What is GiveBackAmerica.org (GBA)?
GBA
is an online shopping mall that was created to raise money
for charities. Retailers, such as Expedia.com & Target.com,
pay GBA a commission to refer customers to their site.
GBA takes the commission from the retailer and shares
it with the charity of your choice. What a great concept!
Giving money to charity while doing your everyday shopping.
Q:
Do I pay extra to shop through the GBA mall?
NO! There are no additional costs
to the shopper for using our service. The retailers have
agreed to pay GBA a commission for every customer we refer
and in turn GBA passes along that commission to your selected
charity. There are NO ADDITIONAL COSTS!
Q:
How can I be assured that the selected charities are receiving
the proper commission?
GBA provides a copy of all records,
receipts and all GBA corporate documents to each selected
charity to do their own independent audits.
Q:
If I forget to purchase through GBA and go directly to
the retailer's web page, can the charities still receive
their donation?
NO!!!!!!! In order to earn a commission
for online shopping you must start at GBA. That is the
only was GBA can accurately track your shopping and reward
your charity.

What are cookies? How are they used?
A cookie is a small file sent to
your web browser when you access a web site. GBA uses
cookies to identify shoppers selected charities and to
accurately ensure that all donations get tracked properly
and given to the selected charities.

Is my personal information secure on GBA?
GBA DOES NOT collect any personal
information on our shoppers. All purchases and personal
information are given on the specific retailers website
(ex. Expedia.com & Target.com) where your purchases
are being made. We don't have any access to that information.
Q:
Is it secure to shop at GBA with a credit card?
GBA features the most reputable
stores in online shopping. Remember, you will not be using
your credit card at GBA, you will be using you card at
the independent retailers. Please see the individual stores
web site for their security and privacy policy.
Q:
What if a shopper is not satisfied with a purchase?
GBA is an independent business
and only acts as a referral link to the independent retailers.
Each store is solely responsible for their own business
and all returns and product complaints should be taken
up with the retailer.
Q:
When will the charities receive the donations?
Checks
are sent to charities on a quarterly basis, 90 days in
arrears. This 90 days allows retailers time to report
merchandise returns. GBA does not issue checks for under
$25. Any charity with a balance below $25 will have the
balance carried forward quarterly until $25 accrues.

How Does GBA fund its operations?
Retailers
pay GiveBackAmerica.org a commission for each purchase
referred through www.GiveBackAmerica.org. GiveBackAmerica.org
typically pays out 60% of total commission to charities
thereafter. We note, GiveBackAmerica.org pays out 100%
of commission listed on the shopping mall. GiveBackAmerica.org
reserves the right to increase charity payouts depending
on success and participation in our program. GiveBackAmerica.org
pledges never to payout less than 60% of commission, no
matter the circumstances. GiveBackAmerica.org pledges
(upon request) to provide quarterly accounting statements
detailing sales commissions.
